The film that entered its fifth week on Friday, earned an impressive Rs 50 lakh. The film came in a close second at the Indian box office, only to be beaten by Allu Arjun‘s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ that earned Rs 75 lakh on Friday.
With this, ‘No Way Home’ now boasts of an estimated total collection of Rs 211 crore.
On the global front, ‘No Way Home’ is expected to beat the 2018 film ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ to become the fifth highest-earning film of all time. The film has so far earned around USD 1.5 billion from global box office collections. With numbers still on the rise, it is expected to beat ‘Infinity War’ which earned USD 2.04 billion at the international box office.
Meanwhile, in India, the Spidey flick is still way behind ‘Infinity War’ which earned an impressive Rs 227 crore at the box office. By week 5, the 2018 film earned Rs 226 crore at the domestic box office. It ran for a total of 10 weeks before bowing out of theatres.
According to reports on boxofficeindia.com, the film has managed to pull through despite the restrictions in place amidst the surge in covid-19 cases in the country that includes night curfew in states including Maharashtra.
